| DMA has introduced the system of multimodal transport of liquids
in tank containers both inland and worldwide. The construction of the tank container meets the container standard of ISO-20 and requirements of international conventions:
Tank-containers are designed to carry liquids by rail, sea, river and road, providing a full protection of cargo during its movement and storage. The main advantage for using tank containers is that liquids moving in them achieve door-to-door delivery, and avoid the problem of bulk transfer and multimodal interchange of drums. Leakage and contamination advantages also have weight in favor of tank containers in some cases.
